Mathias is passionate about IT in industrial settings and loves seeing the real-world impact of his software solutions. As Belgium’s first Certified SIRI Assessor (CSA), he takes a comprehensive approach to digital transformation journeys.
Mathias’ interest in technology started early, with a father who was an IT consultant. He studied industrial engineering, specialising in IT and electronics, and found the combination of theory and practical applications to be a perfect fit. He honed his skills in the field during various internships while setting up his own home automation system.
After graduating with the highest honours, he began working at Yokogawa as an application engineer, developing software applications for industrial settings. His interest in digital transformation led him to a role as a global business analyst, where he discovered the importance of an Agile way of working and collaborating with diverse cultures.
However, a true entrepreneur never sits still. Mathias became a business manager in an engineering consultancy firm, where he learned about recruitment, sales, and financial management. After gaining more experience as a freelancer, he decided to start his own company with Jurgen and Adrien, and Coretecs was born.
In his free time, Mathias enjoys playing golf and traveling with his wife and border collie.
